2026 PDC 2.0 [Exclusive Early Bird Discount]
A quick housekeeping note before we get to the good stuff: On the right-hand side, you'll see a field that asks for your email address. If you’re already a member of the Permaculture Circle ("TPC"), please use the same email you currently use to access TPC. By doing so, you’ll be able to find all your educational materials in one centralized area with a single login.
If you’ve forgotten your password, no problem: Enter your email anyway, then scroll to the bottom of the next screen, click “Forgot your password?” and follow the rest of the instructions.
And if you are brand new to our community - WELCOME! Please enter any email you prefer to get started on our journey together. That will be your login email moving forward.
Now, onto the good stuff...
If you’ve made it this far, we're assuming you’re ready to enroll in the 2026 Online PDC 2.0 :)
We know what this has meant to students in the past, and we're delighted for you about what this will mean for your future. Above all, we're honored that you’ve chosen Geoff and the rest of our team to be with you on this incredible journey ahead.
Here’s a quick recap of what you’ll receive, among other things, when you enroll today:
- Online PDC 2.0 (18-week course): This extensive training is ideal for complete beginners, experienced permaculturists, and everyone in between. A new batch of modules will be released each week for 18 weeks, helping to pace the course and form the basis of the weekly Q&A and online community discussion.
- Catch-up Sessions: Spaced throughout the course, we will have two one-week intermissions set aside exclusively for catching up and to give you an opportunity to review the previous block of course materials. We will continue holding video Q&As, and the TAs will be available daily to monitor the discussion areas.
- Extended Access: After the 18 weeks are over, you will have continued, full access to all the videos, recorded Q&As, animations, and PDFs through January 31st, 2027. Watch, listen, and read as many times as you’d like. As this is a cohort-based class with a fixed duration, kindly note that access to course materials will cease on January 31st. For those interested, additional tuition-based options to extend access to the materials beyond January 31st will be presented before the end of the course.
- Permaculture Design Certificate: Successfully completing the final design product will result in you being awarded the Permaculture Design Certificate, the same globally recognized certificate that Bill honored Geoff with more than 40 years ago and that Geoff has, in turn, presented to over 20,000 qualified students in the decades since. Again, we are honored to be the first permaculture institute in the world to issue digital certificates that are cryptographically secured on the blockchain. One-click social media sharing (LinkedIn, Facebook + dozens more) is built in, as is "anytime printing" in ultra-high resolution.
- 750+ instructional modules: Blackboard-style instructional presentations, rich animations, detailed PDFs, Knowledge Checks, Learning Objectives, Activities, Brief Overviews, and Key Takeaways: A set of these will be released weekly, as per the curriculum schedule. Study them, ask questions 24/7, and then prepare for the weekly video question-and-answer session.
- Q&A weekly: After watching the core video modules (blackboard and supplemental animations), you’ll have a chance to ask Geoff follow-up questions. All sessions will be recorded and made available to you in your student portal. For your benefit, throughout the course, we'll be publishing recordings from the previous cohort, featuring dozens of Q&A sessions.
- Community town hall (24/7): A sleek, modern discussion area powered by the industry leader Discourse, far exceeding outdated commenting tools; a clean, easy-to-use platform that fosters meaningful interactions with course teaching assistants, Geoff, and your peers (professionals, aid workers, NGO staff, etc.).
- Daily help from PDC-certified teaching assistants: A team of fantastic teaching assistants (TAs) facilitates lively discussion, offers insights, and provides timely, helpful answers to your questions throughout the course. Each of our TAs has been rigorously vetted and is passionate about permaculture.
- Automatic inclusion in The Permaculture Circle (TPC): Our most recent contribution to the permaculture community is a free online community featuring a curated collection of 70+ instructional videos, animations, and other resources. If you don’t already have it, you'll automatically be added to this by virtue of your enrollment today in the PDC.
- Early Bird Bundle: Bonus materials that you can enjoy starting shortly after enrolling (additional bundles will be released, on average, every 4-5 days).

Remember that the structure of this course blends elements of a self-paced approach with the most advantageous elements of a schedule-based course (i.e., specific start and end dates). Here’s what this practically means: Like a self-paced course, you can enroll and then start any time on or after May 22nd. You can then work as quickly as you’d like to complete the course materials and Final Design Exercise by the last day of the course, January 31st, 2027. You can, in principle, complete going through all of the instructional materials in 9-10 weeks; the fact that we’ve spread out the publication of these materials across 18 weeks is intended to give you maximum flexibility. At the same time, we’ve put together a suggested schedule and course timetable that you may choose to follow in order to feel that you are moving along at (roughly) the same pace as hundreds of your fellow classmates and colleagues. Some weeks you may choose to slow down, others to speed up. No matter how fast or slow you go, you will always find others in your cohort who are working on the same materials that you are.
If you have any additional questions about this, please contact us. We’ll be happy to provide additional guidance about your specific circumstances.
A few last things, and then we'll leave you alone so that you can enroll :)
- Currency: Kindly note that pricing is in US dollars. If you are using a non-US dollar payment method, that's fine: there is nothing further you need to do, as your bank/credit card provider will automatically perform the appropriate currency conversion.
- License, not ownership: Please remember that enrollment does not imply ownership of the materials; rather, it is a license for your personal use. What this practically means is that you can watch/read the materials as much as you’d like for the full duration of the course (through January 31st, 2027) for your own benefit, but you may not share the materials or login details with anyone outside your immediate household. It’s common sense, fair, and provides everything you need. For full details, we invite you to take a glance at the detailed terms and conditions and other requisite legalese that our lawyers made us include :)
- A Note About Refunds: As always, we have a generous, 30-day, 100% money-back guarantee for all our courses. If you’re not delighted with the course, let us know, and we’ll provide you with a rapid refund. And, at the risk of stating the obvious, as a way of thanking you for your trust and time, even if you decide this course isn't right for you, we wholeheartedly invite you to continue enjoying the content and community within TPC. Our goal is to delight, not hold a magnifying glass to a calendar :)
- Start date: Please note that public, worldwide enrollment will take place in the coming weeks, and the course will begin for everyone on May 22nd.
- Early Bird Bundle: In the meantime, please feel free to explore some of the materials on the placard titled "The Permaculture Greenroom [2026]." There are *already* some enrichment materials we've preloaded for you as part of your Early Bird enrollment, and we will add additional bonus materials until the day we begin the course -- on average, about one new bundle every 4-5 days. Please feel free to enjoy this complimentary content, as well as the 70+ resources already included in the Permaculture Circle.
If you have any questions, feel free to hit the chat icon on the bottom right of your screen, and we’ll be happy to help.
Cheers,
Student Care
PS: As we've said elsewhere, we've never offered so much for so little. It’ll be an amazing journey, and we're honored that you’ve allowed us to be an important part of it.
We look forward to welcoming you to the course!
